AI video production is advancing at an exponential pace. Below, the interior of a futuristic Tokyo landscape was in seconds via prompting in Blockade Labs' Skybox engine. Having the ability to prompt will become a vital part of the animation and video game processes, in the near future.
Videos below prompted by Leroy Basnight III with Skybox and Runway ML.
In it's current state, AI can be used in the animation process as well. The results are not pristine, but we have the ability to process unique movement, while interpolating a distinct visual style. In the example below, I used Runway ML to conceptualize two different animation styles, based on one video clip. With the movement already rendered via the AI, the animator can focus on cleaning up frames exclusively, saving them hours of time.
